I was born and raised in Iowa. Joined the marine corps after high school at 18, Vietnam Veteran, assigned to guard president Nixon at his private residence, assigned to embassy duty in Panama. Attended the University of Iowa to obtain a BS Premed, BS in Chemical Engineering, attended the University of Akron to obtain a MS in Polymer Science, and attended California State University to obtain an MBA. I have worked for DuPont, Dow Chemical, and Exxon for 35 years before starting my own company. As a Director of Technology, I have traveled around the world for 35 years and my current company also requires significant international travel. While in high and college I set a national record in the half mile and went to the US Olympic trials in 1972.
