Alexander K. founded My Colombian Wife in 2012 with one mission: helping foreign men meet genuine Colombian women who are serious about love, marriage, and starting a family.

He has been traveling to Colombia since 1995 and has lived and worked in the country since 2007. In 2013, he married his own Colombian wife and has first-hand experience with the opportunities and challenges of international relationships.

Before meeting his wife, Alexander experienced the realities of dating in Colombia as a foreigner. He learned that while Colombia is home to many wonderful, traditional women, it can also be difficult for foreign men to distinguish sincere women from those with dishonest intentions.

This experience inspired him to create a professional matchmaking service built on trust, transparency, and personal verification.

Today, My Colombian Wife has one of the largest databases of verified Colombian women seeking a foreign husband. Every member is personally screened, allowing clients to meet women who are genuinely interested in a serious relationship and marriage.

Lorena is our official representative in Colombia since 2018. When you become a member of MCW Lorenas job is to contact the female members of your favourites list and to find out whether there is a mutual interest in meeting you in Colombia.
Due to to her long year experience in working as a Matchmaker for MCW she has a developed a “6th sense” regarding finding a compatible partner for our clients. She will be in charge of organizing your entire trip and of course the introductions in Bogota, Colombia.

Diana is one of our translators. Her job is to pick you up from your Hotel and enable a smooth conversation during your meetings. She will be your right hand during your entire stay in Colombia.
Also she will be the Tourguide for the city tour. She will be glad to help you if you need any assistance during your stay.
