Retired Army Chaplain, and part time licensed professional counselor.

Background: Only child, 1st generation American (Italian mom and Ukrainian dad were both 1st. generation). Mother taught me to: be a good person and learn how to cook. Father taught me to: be a hard worker and learn how to fight. Parents divorced when I was 14 years old.  Four years in the USMC, with two meritorious promotions and a meritorious mass with the Installation Commander for exceptional service. Spiritual awakening on June 16, 1975: I know and love Jesus Christ; He is the preeminence. Married for over 39 years (she quit in September 2021 and is remarried; we remain amicable), three adult children, three grandchildren (all live local and are bilingual: Spanish/English). Three related master degrees. Professional career began with working in a homeless shelter with men (1991-2002). Returned to active duty as a chaplain after the 911 attack on the USA (I am a US Patriot).  After retiring from the Army in 2013, I worked for the Veterans Hospital Administration in a psychiatric residential treatment facility for mental health disorder and substance abuse (2014-2019). I now work remotely as a licensed professional counselor (2020-present). Personal data: Tender Warrior who is safe, secure, stable, sensual, serene, faithful, fit (I weight train 6 days weekly), loving, empathetic, kind, helpful, understanding,   graciously flexible, forgive easily, very affectionate, frugal (not cheap), tenacious (I never quit), neat, clean, organized, disciplined,  emotionally intelligent with good conflict resolution skills, and know how to have fun when with the right people. Listen to music every day. have sleep apnea, asthma, two degenerative lumbar discs, and Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), and  take herbal medication to relieve joint inflammation.  Debt free other than a mortgage, possess  basic Spanish skills, and I am a firm believer in Genesis 2:18.
