Retired Auditor for the US Government for 30 years. Own and operate a small business in the Northern VA Area.  Graduated in 1980, NSU, BS Degree in Accounting. In July 2018, earned a Certificate of Contract Management from Northern Virginia Communicate College, and currently, a Contractor Contract Analyst for the AMYX Inc. located in Reston, VA.  As an individual, I have extraordinarily strong core values and beliefs, to include excellent work ethics and strong family values. I am believer in God and recognize that I am nothing without God, being in, part of and directing my life. Everything that I have accomplished is the results of God directing my life. A huge believer and practitioner of Chivalry, I am an old fashion or old school romantic. My desire is to create within you, a special love, joy, and happiness, you have never experienced.  Our relationship is built upon transparency; honesty; communicating; kindness; respect; laughter; resolving issues without the use of harsh, disrespectful or insulting language or words; common interests and hobbies; common belief in values; moral beliefs; and family values. Life’s experiences have caused me to refocus on where a relationship should begin.  Many instances, many couples begin focusing on the development of a relationship based on physicality; however, it the end, the relationship ceases because the physical attraction begins to diminish, there is no sharing of ideas, no communication.  After examining, reading articles, listening to relationship experts, I recalled the relationship that I had with my Best Friend (he is now deceased), noting and recalling how he and I bonded.  The decision was made, when seeking a future wife, she must become my Best Friend and Soul Mate.  Think about this opinion, everyone has one special friend where there is a constant and continuous sharing of thoughts, dreams, ideas, values, hobbies, beliefs, and goals. My intentions are extremely simplistic, to seek, find, and build a long-term relationship, leading to marriage.  Should children be involved, she will have no worries because I will be a positive example, and together, we will teach and help the children achieve their dreams and goals.
I will pamper you with love, affection, and attention. I love biking riding, swimming, traveling, music, other outdoor activities, many sporting activities, learning about other cultures and their histories, politics, reading, romantic writing, writing, food lover, science-fiction, romantic comedy movies, Latin Soap-Operas, tennis, gym, walking along the seashore, classic movies, romantic-drama movies, drama movies, amusement parks, sailing, fishing, dancing with my best-friend/lover/fiancée/wife, etc.  Finally, I am a huge fan of the Colombian National Soccer Team.  In the past, I have traveled and seen many beautiful sites in Colombia.
As previous stated, I love writing romantic letters, thoughts, sonnets, and poems, below is one poem recently written.
Who is Love?
She is that sparkle of light when I am surrounded by darkness and hopelessness.  She is my focal point because she causes me to push towards excellence.  When I hurt internally, she consoles my heart and mind with actions of passion and love.  She is the beat of my heart because I cannot exist without her.  When I was down and cast aside, she lifted me.  She is the air that I breathe, because of her, I am floating in the sky.  She is electrifying because she intensifies my love for her, when, in her presence.  When there is a need for advice, she provides guidance and direction.  She is my warm shower because her words soften my heart.  She is my sun because she radiates my body with warmth.  When I am lonely, she blankets me with affection, love, and reassurance.  She is loyal, trustworthy, and virtuous, never allowing me to have doubt.  She made a sacred vow, never to abandon nor leave me.  She is committed to loving me forever.  She shares with me, her personal and private thoughts.  She causes me to imagine how life would be with her, forever.  She is stunningly beautiful, and I cannot take my eyes off her.  When I am cold, she radiates my body with her words of love.

Looking for an incredibly special woman who will become my soulmate, lover, wife, confidant, business advisor, personal physician, and special best friend.  My astonishing special woman should be professionally career oriented, highly educated, intelligent, charming, understanding, compassionate for others, and family oriented.  She must be a woman of God, with strong moral, cultural and family values. She must be humorous, a great listener, willing to share her opinions on matters important to our future family. My Best Friend must create within me, feelings of joy, love, and happiness, I have never experienced.  My Special Latina must never allow separation to exist and regardless of what must be done, we do it together, for we are not two, but ONE.  My Special Latina must be willing to build a relationship based upon transparency; honesty; communicating; kindness; respect; laughter; resolving issues without the use of harsh, disrespectful or insulting language or words; common interests and hobbies; common belief in values; moral beliefs; and family values. Wherever we are, wherever we go, whatever we are doing, she must want such a bonding and closeness existing, that a narrow sheet of paper cannot come between us, causing a separation.  I am seeking an astounding special woman who will give all her love, affection, and attention, only to me. Though she may not be able to speak English, I will work with her to learn the English. She must be willing to teach me her native language and I study Spanish during my leisure time.  She must be desiring to my best friend, partner, lover, and future wife. While we are getting to know each other, I will never place her in a compromising position where she must abandon her core values and beliefs. She must be seeking to create and build a beautiful long-term relationship, leading to marriage.
