Colombian immigrant with a well-marked accent who often speaks Spanglish. I am a person who believes in social justice and, human rights. Life has given me the opportunity to work with immigrants, and I will continue to do so for a long time. I am Latino in all the cultural sense; I like to watch soccer, salsa (listen to it more than dance it….nadie entiende eso lo se..porque alguien disfruta escuchar mas salsa que bailarla?), I enjoy reading Benedetti, García Márquez, Galeano, Cortázar and lately to Héctor Abad Faciolince. I am a family person and a good friend who like to host Sunday Brunches. I am Catholic but open to other religions, from my Muslim friends I have learned the true meaning of fasting. I Do not often go to the church, but I believe that the landscape of a mountain can also give me spaces of peace and reflection. I am not closed to meet only Hispanic women, but I want to meet someone who is open to my culture and my language. In the same way, I will be willing to do it and learn from my partner new things. I think I have a good sense of humor, however many times I have failed to make good translations of some jokes. I like to travel, but I recognize that many times I have sacrificed to know other countries for visiting my country and the people I love.
